Geomembranes and geosynthetic clay liners form part of engineered barrier systems for tailings storage facilities, heap leach pads, landfills and process ponds. Their role is to limit migration of liquids and contaminants in accordance with the project design. Material compatibility, subgrade preparation, installation quality and operational maintenance all influence performance. Our scope can combine material supply, delivery, installation and QA/QC; containment design and regulatory approval remain the responsibility of the appointed project professionals.

Reservoir and canal liners can reduce seepage losses, while drainage geocomposites and geotextiles support drainage, filtration and separation. Erosion control products, geocells and geotextile containers support protection measures where appropriate to the site. Selection must account for hydraulic conditions, soil, exposure, intended use and the designer’s requirements. Expected savings, service life and environmental performance are assessed against the specified system and operating conditions.

Environmental responsibility starts with selecting suitable materials and delivering the agreed work correctly. We coordinate supply, cross-border logistics, installation and quality records within the project scope, alongside our in-house manufacturing and custom fabrication capabilities. QA/QC may include material traceability, installation checks, seam testing and as-built records under the approved plan. Independent third-party review is arranged where required by the project. Project-specific assessment can compare resource use, transport requirements and lifecycle cost when evaluating suitable alternatives.
