Scrim-reinforced LLDPE and PVC floating covers for potable reservoirs, process ponds and biogas lagoons. We engineer the cover geometry, fabricate floats, ballast tubes, sumps and access details in-house, and install to 15 or 30 year design life. IAGI member installer, one of only five in Africa.

Geosynthetics Africa manufactures and installs welded mesh, woven double-twisted and Reno mattress gabions across Africa. Galvanized, Galfan and PVC-coated mesh, hand-packed and tied to spec for civil, mining and municipal infrastructure.
Geocell Installation Solutions Across Africa
Geosynthetics Africa supplies and installs HDPE and woven PP geocell across South Africa, SADC and Central Africa. Cell depths from 75 to 200mm, perforated and textured, for haul roads, slope protection, channel lining and load support - cutting aggregate volume by up to 50% on weak subgrades.
High-Performance GCCM Channel Lining Installation For Mining, Infrastructure & Water Projects
Geosynthetics Africa is a specialist installer of channel lining systems using Tiltex GCCM (Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mat) - delivering high-performance, quality-controlled installation in support of mining, infrastructure, and water projects. We position ourselves as Africa's installation specialists, securing civil & mine operations from erosion risk. Our systems are engineered to protect critical infrastructure under severe operating conditions.
Manufacturing & Fabrication
We manufacture and fabricate geosynthetic containment articles in our own Johannesburg facility - sewn geotextile, welded geomembrane and welded steel mesh. Sand containers, dewatering bags and tubes, reinforced silt fence and drainage filter socks; floating covers, pipe boots and prefabricated liner detail work in HDPE and LLDPE; welded mesh gabion baskets and mattresses to SANS 675. Every product available in custom sizes - a non-standard specification is a production run on our own machines, not a twelve-week import.
Sand Container Installation
Supply and installation of FlowTex geosynthetic sand containers for coastal revetments, groynes, dune protection, scour defence and riverbank stabilisation across Africa. Manufactured in South Africa, installed by our own IAGI-aligned crews.
Silt Curtain & Turbidity Barrier Installation Across Africa
Floating silt curtains and turbidity barriers deployed, anchored and maintained by our own crews on dredging, bridge, port, mining and shoreline projects. Type 1, 2 and 3 configurations matched to current, tidal range and debris load, with fabricated-to-size barriers from our own factory and deployment across more than 30 African countries.
Concrete Lining & Protection
Professional installation of Tiltex® Concrete Blankets (GCCM) for fast, formwork-free erosion control and channel lining, and GSE® Studliner® HDPE Concrete Protective Liner (CPL) for long-term chemical and corrosion protection of concrete structures. Our trained crews deliver both systems across Africa, from site preparation to final quality testing.
Bioengineering & Revegetation
Natural-fibre erosion control blankets that hold soil and seed in place while vegetation takes over. We supply and install jute, coir, straw and wood wool SoilLock blankets for mine rehabilitation, river banks, road cuttings and embankments across Africa.

We coordinate quantities, edging, foundation geotextile where needed, Africa-wide logistics, trained installation support and agreed QA/QC. Pro includes attached Typar; grass and Stable Fix grids use separately specified geotextile.
