Website & Project Enquiries
Terms & Conditions
Information about using the Geosynthetics Africa website and requesting geosynthetic materials, delivery, installation and QA/QC services. Transaction-specific terms are set out in the applicable quotation and agreed contract. Last updated: 13 October 2026.
1. Website Information & Responsible Use
This website describes Geosynthetics Africa’s material supply, manufacturing, delivery, installation and quality control capabilities. Information is provided to help you identify relevant products and discuss a project. Website descriptions and case studies do not replace the project design, current manufacturer documentation or a written scope agreed for your work. Do not use the website to submit unlawful content, interfere with security, misrepresent your authority or disclose information you are not authorised to share. Account users should protect their sign-in details and report suspected misuse.
2. Enquiries, Quotations & Contracting Entity
Sending a BOQ, drawing or enquiry requests a response and does not by itself place an order or appoint an installation contractor. Pricing, availability, quotation validity, payment arrangements, taxes, freight, duties and delivery conditions are those stated in the relevant quotation and agreed contract. No universal quotation validity period or delivery deadline is established by this page. Any preliminary estimate must be distinguished from a confirmed offer.
The quotation identifies the legal entity making the offer. Geosynthetics Africa and regional businesses may handle different scopes or markets; use the entity details on the transaction documents. Changes to scope, specifications, quantities or site conditions should be recorded and agreed through the applicable contractual process. Agreed transaction documents govern the specific transaction, subject to mandatory law.
3. Product Specifications, Brands & Technical Selection
Product selection depends on intended use, design requirements, chemical compatibility, loading, hydraulic conditions, exposure and the applicable specifications. Consult current product-specific datasheets and clarify required test methods, standards and certification documents before ordering. A reference to ASTM, GRI, SANS or another standard relates to the identified product, test or project requirement; it is not a blanket certification of all products or the company. Material certificates, traceability records and testing deliverables are confirmed in the agreed supply scope.
Manufacturer names and registered product marks identify the relevant owners and products. Geosynthetics Africa does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks. Equivalent materials or substitutions require technical review and any approval required by the project. Application support does not replace the appointed designer’s professional responsibilities unless separately agreed.
4. Delivery, Installation, QA/QC & Warranty Scope
Clients may request material supply or an integrated package that includes delivery, installation and QA/QC. The agreed scope defines responsibilities for design, quantities, transport, unloading, access, storage, earthworks, subgrade acceptance, anchorage, utilities, safety, installation and testing. Site readiness and weather or access constraints must be considered when confirming schedules. Cross-border delivery depends on the agreed route, customs requirements and transaction terms.
Testing methods, frequencies, acceptance criteria, independent review and handover records follow the approved project plan and contract. Manufacturer product warranties and installation workmanship terms are distinct and must be checked in the relevant written documents. This page does not create a universal warranty period, service-life promise or zero-leak guarantee. Nothing in this notice removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act or Electronic Communications and Transactions Act where applicable.
5. Intellectual Property, Privacy & Contact
Website text, photographs and other materials may belong to Geosynthetics Africa, manufacturers or other rights holders. Respect copyright, trademark and document-use conditions; obtain permission for republication or commercial reuse where required. Do not imply endorsement by a manufacturer or client merely because its name appears on this site. Third-party links and embedded services have their own terms and privacy notices.
Personal information submitted through this website is addressed in our Privacy Policy. Identify confidentiality requirements for BOQs and project documents before submission and send only information needed for the enquiry. For questions about website content, specifications or transaction terms, contact info@geosyntheticsafrica.com, +27 72 343 0868, or our head office at 11 Arum Lily Street, Fisantekraal, Durbanville, Cape Town, 7550, South Africa. Updates to this website notice do not retrospectively vary an existing agreed project contract.
