Service Overview
We install geomembrane lining systems for tailings facilities, process-water ponds, reservoirs, landfills and civil infrastructure. The agreed scope can combine material supply, logistics, installation and documented quality control.
Before mobilisation, we review the drawings, material requirements, access, subgrade readiness and installation sequence. The project method statement defines panel layout, welding, inspection hold points and handover requirements.
For GSE liners manufactured by Solmax, installation procedures are aligned with the applicable manufacturer guidance and approved project specification.
Quality records connect material roll numbers to installed panels, welds, inspections and repairs. The handover dossier gives the client a traceable record of the completed work.
Concrete protection liner installation: GSE® Studliner® is a studded HDPE CPL for precast, cast-in-place and engineered rehabilitation works. Our project scope can include supply and delivery, panel layouts, coordination with concrete and formwork teams, welded joints, penetrations and terminations. The QA/QC plan covers trial seams, appropriate non-destructive weld testing, construction-damage checks, repairs and retesting, with documented handover. Solmax recommends final spark testing of the complete sheet surface; testing details are agreed for each structure.

Mining Tailings Storage Facilities (TSFs)
Install the specified liner and protection layers to the approved TSF design. Confirm liquid compatibility, interface stability, drainage, anchorage and inspection requirements before deployment.
Heap Leach Pads
Install the designed geomembrane, cushion and drainage layers for the leach pad. Material selection and interface performance must suit the process chemistry, loading and slope geometry.
Pollution Control Dams
Install containment systems to the site water-management design and applicable permit requirements. Liner thickness, storm capacity and layer configuration are project-specific design decisions.
Floating Covers
Install the specified floating membrane, ballast, anchorage and penetration details. The cover design must address wind, movement, drainage and the intended evaporation, odour or gas-control duty.
Agricultural Reservoirs & Dams
Install the specified liner for irrigation storage, farm dams and aquaculture facilities. Confirm subgrade condition, operating levels, exposure and any potable-water or aquaculture requirements.
Landfill, Ash & Bund Lining
Install the approved composite barrier, protection and drainage system. Retain panel, weld, repair and acceptance records for the facility handover dossier.

We plan delivery and mobilisation for the project destination, including site access, freight, border clearance and local execution arrangements. Entity, employment and local-content requirements are confirmed for the country and contract; these are not interchangeable across African jurisdictions.
