Manufacturing, Warehousing & Rapid Dispatch across South Africa
Our Johannesburg distribution and fabrication centre carries running stock of the full geosynthetic range: HDPE and LLDPE geomembrane in smooth and textured finish (1.0mm to 3.0mm), non-woven and woven geotextiles, biaxial and uniaxial geogrids, geosynthetic clay liners, geocells, drainage geocomposites and geonet, plus galvanised and PVC-coated gabion baskets and Reno mattresses. Stock items dispatch same day or next day to all nine provinces on our own and contracted flat-deck and side-tipper fleet, with container-direct and mill-direct options for bulk tonnage. Non-stock widths, textured grades, custom-fabricated panels and colour-specific liners are produced to order on short lead times, and rolls are sequenced and labelled per panel layout so material arrives on site in deployment order rather than in a heap at the laydown area. Every consignment ships with mill certificates, batch and roll numbers, and a delivery note that reconciles against the approved bill of materials.
Logistics Corridors
Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, Free State, KZN (N3/Durban), Northern & Western Cape (N1/N12), Eastern Cape
Customs & Tariff Status
Domestic supply - no customs. SANS-compliant documentation supplied, plus SADC certificates of origin and export clearance for onward cross-border delivery.

Loaded, Sequenced & Rolling - Same-Day Dispatch from Johannesburg
HDPE and LLDPE geomembrane rolls loaded and strapped at our Johannesburg hub, sequenced and labelled to your approved panel layout so material comes off the truck in deployment order. Geotextile, geogrid, GCL, geocell and gabion stock ship on the same load. Every consignment travels with mill certificates, roll numbers and full batch traceability - same-day or next-day dispatch to all nine provinces.

Crews on the Face - Deployment, Seaming & Testing
Panels deployed in sequence to the approved layout, with white-surface geomembrane specified where solar gain and wrinkle control matter. Seams run on dual-track hot wedge welders with extrusion detailing at penetrations and tie-ins, trial welds at every shift start, and air channel pressure testing on every dual-track seam before sign-off.
Certified Installation & Welding Crews Nationwide
Our permanent South African crews install the full geosynthetic range, not liner alone. Geomembrane deployment and welding is executed with dual-track hot wedge welders and extrusion guns, with trial welds at every shift start and temperature change. Alongside that we install GCL with correct overlap and bentonite detailing, geotextile cushion and separation layers, biaxial and uniaxial geogrid for subgrade stabilisation and reinforced soil structures, geocell infill and anchorage, drainage geocomposites, and gabion baskets and Reno mattresses for erosion and river works. Every scope runs under a project-specific installation and CQA plan: panel layout drawings issued before mobilisation, subgrade acceptance signed off before deployment, non-destructive air pressure and vacuum box testing on every seam, destructive samples at the specified frequency, and a full as-built with roll and panel traceability at handover. Crews mobilise nationwide with their own welding rigs, generators, spark testers, tensiometers and site accommodation, and work to client HSE and mine-standard inductions.

Independent & On-Site QA/QC Across the Full Geosynthetic Range
Every project runs under a written CQA plan agreed before mobilisation. Geomembrane seams are verified by non-destructive air pressure testing on dual-track welds and vacuum box testing on extrusion welds, with destructive coupons cut at the specified frequency and taken to peel and shear on calibrated field tensiometers. Trial welds are run at each shift start, after every four hours, and on any material temperature change. Testing extends beyond liner. Conformance samples are drawn on arrival against mill certificates for geotextile, geogrid, GCL and geocell. Subgrade is inspected and accepted in writing before any deployment. GCL overlap, bentonite continuity and hydration control are inspected panel by panel, geogrid rib orientation and overlap are checked against design, and gabion mesh gauge, coating and lacing are verified to specification. Handover includes the full CQA pack - panel layout as-builts, roll and batch traceability, all destructive and non-destructive test records, repair and patch register, and third-party CQA sign-off where the client appoints an independent consultant.
100% Non-Destructive Seam Inspection
Every dual-wedge track seam is pressure-tested at 200–250 kPa in strict accordance with GRI-GM19.
Destructive Tensiometer Testing
Field tensiometer tests verify seam strength exceeds parent sheet tensile properties before final sign-off.

GSE HD Single-Side Textured Geomembrane Liner - GRI-GM13
GRI-GM13 certified HDPE geomembrane textured on one face, smooth on the other. Specified where friction is needed against one interface only - typically textured to the soil or drainage layer with the smooth face against a GCL or secondary liner. 1.0mm to 2.5mm, 100% virgin resin, Solmax GSE manufactured.

GSE PolyLock T HDPE Termination Strip
GSE PolyLock T HDPE termination strip Africa - the cast-in locking embedment profile for permanent geomembrane-to-concrete anchorage. Three T-anchors embed into fresh concrete; the exposed HDPE weld cap is extrusion-welded directly to the adjacent liner, creating a continuous, testable, leak-tight seal without metal battens, fasteners or sealants. Compatible with 1.0–3.0mm HDPE liners. 5m sections. Supplied and installed across Africa by Geosynthetics Africa.

GSE HD Double-Side Textured Geomembrane Liner - GRI-GM13
GRI-GM13 certified HDPE geomembrane textured on both faces for maximum interface friction. Specified on containment slopes steeper than 3H:1V - TSF embankment faces, landfill side slopes and dam batters where veneer stability governs the design. 1.0mm to 2.5mm, 100% virgin resin, Solmax GSE manufactured.

GSE HD Smooth Geomembrane Liner - GRI-GM13
GRI-GM13 and SANS 1526 certified smooth HDPE geomembrane from Solmax GSE, 1.0mm to 3.0mm, 100% virgin resin. The standard profile for flat and gently graded containment on slopes to 3H:1V - TSF base liners, landfill cells, reservoirs, canals and process ponds. 7m rolls. Ex-stock supply, IAGI-aligned installation and full QA dossier across 30+ African countries.

GCL Bentonite Geosynthetic Clay Liner (3500–6000 g/m²)
Eurobent GCL, supplied and installed across Africa by Geosynthetics Africa. A reinforced bentonite mat combining two or more layers of geotextile with bentonite, a clay with strong swelling ability, needle-punched into a durable sealing layer that acts as a barrier to liquids, vapour and gases. Available in grades from 3500 to 6000 g/m² net bentonite.

Mirafi® S - Nonwoven Separation & Filtration Geotextile
Mechanically bonded continuous filament nonwovens in 100 % UV-stabilised polypropylene, 70 to 385 g/m². Fifty years of use in separation and filtration of trafficked areas over weak soils, and as drainage filters. ASQUAL certified across 13 grades.
