Overview
BERA® Eco Edge creates tidy borders between lawns, flower beds, gravel paths and pond surrounds. Flexible rolls follow curves; straight boards suit linear layouts. The recycled plastic resists rotting and offers an alternative to timber edging in damp gardens. BERA lists weather, acid and salt resistance, with grey and black finishes.
The 10 m roll is 140 mm high and weighs 12 kg in BERA's published brochure. Grey and black versions have manufacturer product IDs 1410808 and 1410809. Pins and suitable screws are specified separately. The brochure recommends burying at least two-thirds of the edge, fixing pins every 500 mm and compacting soil against it. Confirm the restraint detail for traffic-loaded gravel surfaces.
Made from cleaned recycled plastic and recyclable after use, Eco Edge complements a coordinated landscape package. It is edging, not a paving grid, and does not include an attached Typar membrane. BERA's product page describes availability in 47 countries across five continents.
