System Overview
Prefabricated vertical drains shorten the drainage path in compressible soils as part of an engineered consolidation programme. Geosynthetics Africa supplies PVD and associated filter and drainage materials, with the installation and ground-improvement scope defined for the project. Surcharge, vacuum or other loading and instrumentation remain integrated with the geotechnical design.
We review the ground investigation, drain schedule, installation depth, soil and flow conditions and the specified filter and core performance before procurement.
